Soler: "I hope to play for at least 100 more games, and win trophies here"
Carlos Soler's 100th game for Valencia CF came with a special surprise for the 22 year old, as VCF Media marked the occasion by showing him a video of messages from friends and family.
The midfielder, who is already a fan favourite at Mestalla, expressed his gratitude for the gift and for the opportunities he has received since coming up from the VCF Academy -and also expressed his desire to win silverware with his boyhood club.
"I came here when I was 7 years old, and I've worked really hard. I made my debut at Anoeta, during a tough time, and I've enjoyed myself so much since then. I've had some really good moments and some bad moments, and I think that happens to every player. I think everybody who has always been by my side. Unconditional support is what takes us to the highest level," said the young talent.
"Last season I reached 50 games, and now we're here celebrating 100, in the Centenary year for the club. It's a nice thing, and I hope that I play for 100 more games at least.
At the start of the season I spoke about wanting to win a trophy with Valencia CF at some point. This year we have the possibility of winning the Copa del Rey."
